Spreader Tool

good investment. Finished spreader bars in 4 chairs in half hour. Had to put c clamp on both ends of tool to keep it from popping out from all the pressure.

This tool is a must-have tool if you intend to replace chair slings. We also found it useful to use a clamp on the ends to keep it from popping off the frame. We could not have replaced the chair slings without it!

This tool is a MUST! It was so easy to use and worked like a dream!

It worked well, When you’re doing the spreading have it as close to the mounting holes also use C clamps on each end to hold it to the frame

Mine had spotty welds between threaded rod and L bracket. One of my L brackets even had a drill hole in it. I ended up adding rubber padding to insure they would not pop out under load but only after scratching the crap out of one of my expensive chairs in process. If you buy, add rubber layer to expander section and use secondary clamps to avoid rotation of L brackets under tension to insure no paint damage to your chairs.

Could not have replaced slings without this tool. The only problem was we ran out of rubber bands which are essential to use this tool. Amber additional bands should be supplied with tool.

Never was able to get the spreader tool to work. It would slide off every time the pressure built. Ended up buying the recommended device from Harbor Freight and all went well

Great tool that made slinging my chairs such a breeze.

It was a little difficult to use this, since the ends would pop off the chair. I improvised and had clamps hold down the ends and it worked great.

The best review I can give is that the tool was exactly as described, worked perfectly and arrived promptly.

This thing does the job but be prepared to do work as well. You also might need to clamp it in place to keep it from slipping off the chair. All in all a good tool, price is probably a bit too high but, hey you need it you buy it.

So happy I got this. Was worth every penny and made it so easy to get the tension bars back on.
